The Hybrid Sensory Percussion is the result of a close collaboration between Evans and Sunhouse and has been specifically designed to complete, not just a hybrid kit, but a powerful digital controller. Depending on where you hit the drum, whether it's the rim, a rim-shot, on the shoulders, in the centre, or close to the edge, you can set the tone. You get ten assignable zones per drum, and the options are literally unlimited thanks to the constantly growing library of sounds. Even the strength and speed of your strike can control various filters, including a pitch shifter so the sound can be warped and changed up mid beat, opening up an expansive universe of mouth-watering potential.

All From the Comfort of Your Drum Throne

The Evans Hybrid Sensory Percussion Bundle includes a Sensory Percussion Software download card, an Evans Portal audio interface, three drum sensors and everything you need to complete the setup: twelve pickup elements, an Evans EMAD bass drum adapter, a pair of Promark drumsticks and all the necessary cables. All you'll need to bring is a drum kit fitted with your favourite drumheads (it doesn't matter which), a set of headphones or speakers, and a computer that meets the specification listed below. Once you've downloaded the partner software, you gain access to six built-in sound packs, each stacked with over 100 presets in an array of different styles, including classic electronic drums, complete acoustic kits and melodic presets that play back notes and chords in response to your drumming. Compile a custom kit with the help of 2,700 samples and seventeen effect modules and take advantage of full MIDI support.
